System requirements

From a laptop
to a data centre.

VeriStreet scales with the job: review sites on a laptop, inspect whole towns in full detail on a current desktop, and build and simulate regions on workstation and data centre GPUs.

Planned

Streamed

Open a project in a browser on a Chromebook, Mac or tablet while the town renders in the cloud.

Questions

Before you
check your PC.

Does it run on a Mac or Chromebook?

Not natively. VeriStreet is a Windows app built on DirectX 12. Browser streaming for Mac, Chromebook and tablet is planned.

Why DirectX 12 Ultimate for Ultra?

Ultra quality uses GPU ray tracing and mesh shaders to draw whole towns with lighting, shadows and building detail. Laptops use a simpler rendering path for the same town.

Do path checks need a powerful GPU?

No. Path checks work on the town's geometry, so they run at every tier. A faster PC mainly changes how much visual detail you can explore.

How much storage does a town use?

It depends on the area and the detail level. Pontypridd's building packages alone are about 3.6 GB, so allow at least 10 GB per detailed town.
